Bio: Leo Lingas was born in Mississauga Ontario in 1973, and grew up in dowtown Toronto for most of his life.
He attended the Ontario College of Art and Design and received his AOCAD in 1996. Since then he has worked
exclusively as an artist at large in the Toronto area. Leo is commited to process, working closely as a team
player with all his clients to satisfy their expectations through open communication. Leo is especially
capable at getting the creative process going with clients who are less experienced in working in a creative
capacity. Leo is capable of adapting style and treatment of his work to a client’s needs. From simple cartoons
all the way to fully rendered paintings, Leo is expert with a wide range of traditional and digital tools that
he knows how to utilize in such a way that the client get’s the best product in the time specified, on budget.

Art: Leo's style comes from many inspirational sources. The experimental drive of Leonardo, the moody shading of
Carravagio and the design sense of Mucha. Leo is heavily influenced by anime and manga, always attempting
to integrate the expressive and dynamic qualities of this style of comic art into his painterly technique.
